Neurodiversity & Differing Abilities

All of us have a spectrum of differing developmental abilities that come with challenges, strengths and learning opportunities. Some of our children who have touched the child welfare system might experience neurodiverse needs that require extra education, adaptation, nurturing or accommodation on the parts of all the adults who advocate for them. Together, we can do it! Please reference our ADHD/ADD, Autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, Mindfulness, Regulation & Resilience, Neurofeedback, and Sensory Supports pages for more resources.

"Neurodiversity may be every bit as crucial for the human race as biodiversity is for life in general. Who can say what form of wiring will be best at any given moment?" ~Harvey Blume, The Atlantic
