Getting support early on in the adoption or guardianship process makes an enormous difference! Adoptees, fosterees and parents often tell us they wish their families had gotten more guidance when children first entered their home, even though they didn't know they needed it at the time.
Great news! In partnership with ODHS, ORPARC is launching a new FREE training series called Light Up the Journey for *adoptive and guardianship parents. This 4-part series of 2-hour sessions will be offered live on Zoom at a variety of days and times year-round. It is a wonderful opportunity to find support, meet other parents and get to know ORPARC staff who can walk alongside you. Let's light up your journey and lighten the load...together!

- Session 1: Glimmers of hope and new beginnings
- Session 2: Shining light on trauma
- Session 3: Reflecting on the spectrum of attachment
- Session 4: Spotlight on core issues, connections & identity
*Participants must already have adoptive/guardianship children in the home!
