Getting support and education early on in the adopting or guardianship process makes an enormous difference! Adoptees, fosterees and parents often tell us they wish they and their families had gotten more guidance when children first entered their home, even though they didn't know they needed it at the time.

Great news! In partnership with ODHS, ORPARC is launching a new FREE training series called Light Up the Journey for adoptive and guardianship parents. This series of four 2-hour sessions will be offered live on Zoom at a variety of days and times year-round. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get support, meet other parents and get to know ORPARC staff who can walk alongside their journey.
