Dialectics and Behavior Therapy (DBT): For Resource Parents

Dialectics and Behavioral Therapy ( DBT) helps us to understand the emotional mind and the rational mind. Laura Nichols and Effie Alexander of Sea Mar Community Health Centers Rose Village will provide concepts and skills to improve communication and emotional regulation: The training will orient families on some of the concepts, skills and language from DBT Increase their ability to apply these concepts and skills with their foster children, birth parents and caseworkers ( really all humans ).
