Training:

Honoring Our Stories, Building Our Future: A Global BIPOC Adoptee Convening

Nov 13
Friday, November 13, 2026 – 9:00am
9:00am - 5:00pm

Save the Date: November 13–14, 2026 (Virtual)

Held during National Adoptee Awareness Month (NAAM), this two-day global gathering unites BIPOC adoptees in community, learning, storytelling, and collective action to advance adoptee justice and belonging.
Access is a priority for us in 2026. We intentionally moved resources to create this global, virtual convening, so BIPOC adoptees can connect to resources, community, and healing wherever they are. This convening is for BIPOC adoptees, 18 and older.

Across two days, we’ll gather for workshops and community-centered spaces grounded in:

  • ✨ Narrative Change
  • ✨ Movement Building
  • ✨ Grounding & Wellness

This convening centers the lived experiences, knowledge, creativity, and leadership of BIPOC adoptees and others impacted by adoption and family separation.

Who Is This For?

This virtual convening welcomes BIPOC individuals ages 18 and older who have lived experience with adoption or family separation, including:

  • ➜ Adoptees
  • ➜ Current or former foster youth
  • ➜ Individuals who currently live or have previously lived with a legal guardian
  • ➜ Descendants of individuals with the lived experiences listed above (one or more of your parents has experienced adoption, foster care, or legal guardianship)

We welcome participants from across the globe to connect, share knowledge, build community, and strengthen our collective movement.
