Join Tia Dvorak and Sarah Hamlin to explore why all behavior makes sense and learn practical tools for responding to big, challenging behaviors. Grounded in the work of Robyn Gobbel and her book Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors, this workshop will offer compassionate, actionable strategies for supporting children and families.

Tia Dvorak holds a master's degree in Marriage and Family therapy from SCSU. Currently holding a small caseload, she specializes in treating children 0-10 and their families. However, as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, she uses this modality along with other somatic work for the best possible outcome for clients of all ages.

Sarah Hamlin earned her Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of St Thomas/St Catherine’s University. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
Sarah has been working with children and families for over 30 years and has been a play-based therapist since 2018. Sarah is a former foster parent and is an adoptive parent. She has extensive training in areas of trauma, attachment, child development, and neurobiology, has certification in Permanency and Adoption, and is a vetted therapist with FAM.
