Oregon legislator and adoptee Representative Lucetta Elmer created Oregon's first "Oregon Adoption Day" to recognize and importance of all types and forms of adoption, and to commemorate the day of her own adoption, August 25. The bill passed unanimously with full bipartisan support.

While not an event per say, this is a day to reflect on the many ways adoption has impacted so many lives!
