Change is a constant in life and frequently within the foster care and adoption systems. Unfortunately, we often feel poorly prepared or trained on how to best support children and teens within these transitions. This workshop will explore the mental health impacts of change as well as provide tools for helping children and teens cope with change.

Kelly Pieper is an outpatient therapist, clinical supervisor, trainer, and consultant with almost 15 years of experience in providing services to children and families on the permanency spectrum. She has advanced training in Trauma Informed Child Parent Psychotherapy (TI-CPP), reflective supervision, and earned the Infant Mental Health endorsement (IEC-E) in 2020. She completed the Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate (PACC) program through the University of Minnesota in early 2015.
