In this workshop, Madilyne Harmston, a licensed independent clinical social worker, former foster youth, and adoptee, shares her own journey to demonstrate how personal storytelling can become a powerful tool for resilience and transformation.

Madilyne Harmston is a therapist, speaker, and advocate who believes in the transformative power of stories. As a former foster youth and adoptee, she knows firsthand how trauma can shape identity and how sharing our stories can bring healing, hope, and connection. Today, Madilyne integrates her lived experience with her professional role as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and child protection worker to inspire change in the child welfare system.
