Play is biologically hard-wired into every human. It's not frivolous; it's a powerful, fundamental tool to build resilience, empathy, connection, trust, well-being, creativity, optimism, and more. Play enables human flourishing. In this workshop, we will dive into the neuroscience of play and walk away with practical ways to leverage play in work, relationships, and life.

Mia Sundstrom is the Director for Play Transformation at the National Institute for Play. She also works part-time for the Office of the Chancellor at the University of Denver as a project manager for character education.
