If you care for kids—whether at home, in a classroom, at church, on the sidelines, or anywhere in between—you’ve likely encountered children or youth who’ve experienced hard things. You may have seen a child who struggles to trust, melts down over small issues, or pulls away when someone tries to help. These behaviors can be confusing or overwhelming, but they often come from a place of fear or pain.

TBRI® is a compassionate, evidence-based approach designed to help adults understand and support children from hard places. While it’s grounded in research, at its core, it’s about building healing relationships through connection.

TBRI® gives you tools to:

• Empower kids by meeting their physical and emotional needs
• Connect in ways that foster trust and safety
• Correct behaviors with love—not fear

Whether you're a parent, teacher, counselor, coach, neighbor, or mentor—if you care about kids, TBRI® can help you see them through a new lens and respond in ways that bring healing.

You don’t need to be a therapist to help a child heal. You just need a willingness to connect.
