The importance of reflecting on the possible thoughts, feelings, and intentions related to children's behavior and behavior problems will be discussed. Being a reflective parent involves:
1. Being a keen observer of children's actions;
2. Helping them to sort out the jumbled thoughts, feelings, and intentions related to their behavior; and
3. Encouraging children to vocalize thoughts, feelings, and needs instead of resorting to acting out behavior.

We will discuss many examples and welcome questions.
