Please join Swindells Resource Center in welcoming Mara McLoughlin, MS, CCC-SLP, Founder of IRL Social Skills Certified provider of the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for the virtual workshop Connection is the Cure: How to Initiate, Cultivate, and Sustain Relationships. In this session participants will learn more about:

  • the impact of loneliness on autistic and other socially struggling teens and young adults
  • the importance of direct, explicit, parent-mediated social skills instruction
  • the evidence behind interventions like ours
