Understanding and Supporting Childhood Anxiety

Join Swindells Resource Center and Advanced Pediatric Therapies as we welcome Soobin Im, Ph.D. and Hailey Albin, M.A from Children's Program. This presentation will focus gaining an understanding of the different types of anxiety as it presents for children and how a child experiences anxiety may differ from an adult experience of anxiety. Additionally, the presentation will also discuss potential family impacts on anxiety that occur in the form of accommodations, ways to respond to a child's anxious moment, prevention, and active coping.
