Whether you are a foster or adoptive parent seeking support and guidance, a child welfare professional looking to enhance your knowledge and skills, or someone with firsthand experience with the child welfare system, this conference is designed for you.


Keynotes and Workshops

All sessions are intentionally designed to inspire, inform, and encourage all members of the adoption and foster care community! Workshops from expert speakers will cover a range of topics, including:

  • The impact of trauma and loss
  • Core issues in adoption
  • Effective therapeutic techniques in adoption
  • Kinship care and birth family connections
  • Parenting children with disabilities and challenges
  • Older children and youth
  • Race, culture, and diversity in adoption and foster care
  • Supporting children and families in adoption and foster care
  • Recruiting families for children


Registration (Register at the early bird rate through June 3!)

  • $160 for members
  • $200 for nonmembers
  • Each registration is for one person or for a parenting couple who view the sessions together.

***Attendees can earn social work continuing education credits (CEs) for virtual sessions that are attended live (not by recording).
