Shoulder to Shoulder provides quality training ad networking opportunities for those who work with or care for children, youth and families connected to Child Welfare.

ORPARC is pleased to be one of the partners sponsoring the Shoulder to Shoulder Conference.
The name "Shoulder to Shoulder" reflects the collaborative nature of child welfare work in hopes that joint training would strengthen partnerships to improve outcomes for children and their families.

Shoulder to Shoulder's planning committee is comprised of statewide community partners from the child welfare and child abuse prevention fields. See our Sponsor page for a full list of the community partners.

IN-PERSON Pre-Conference, SUN, OCT 15, 2023

  • $25 per person

LIVE VIRTUAL All-Day Conference, MON, OCT 16, 2023

  • $35 per Individual/ Household
  • $125 Host Sites/ Group Viewing*
    *(5 or more watching from the SAME location)

$50 - BOTH Pre-Conference (10/15) & Virtual Conference (10/16)

Caregiver Scholarships are available on a first come basis for the following individuals:

  • Oregon Certified Resource/Foster Parents (ODHS, OYA, Tribal, Therapeutic, etc.)
  • State Adoptive or Assisted Guardian Parents
  • Relative/ Kinship Caregivers.

Caregiver scholarships available for both the Pre-Conference (10/15) and All Day Virtual Conference (10/16). 2023 Scholarships provided by Oregon Resource Family Alliance (formerly Oregon Foster Parent Association).
