This webinar is aimed at people who work with or care for children (pre-adolescents), highlighting some of the common facts and myths in this area.

This 3-part training will help participants:

• consider and identify the differences between healthy, age-expected, and problematic sexual behavior in children (pre-adolescents)
• identify criteria participants can use to evaluate a child’s sexual behavior and identify when there is a need to consult or refer to specialist agencies
• identify how to respond to sexual behavior in a supportive and positive way (initial responses)
• identify why children display problematic or harmful sexual behavior
• understand the purpose of the behavior and what needs are being met for the child

Presented by - Robert G. Tucker, Director and Independent Social Work Consultant at RGT Training and Consultancy, Ltd., is experienced in assessment, intervention, training and consultancy services for children, young people, their caregivers and professionals, specializing in child sexual abuse, inappropriate or harmful sexual behavior, complex trauma, post-adoption support, anger management, emotional regulation, separation & loss, therapeutic life story work and communicating with hard to reach children.
