They are not quite teens, but they’re not little children…therefore they are known as “tweens” because they are in between these two stages of development. This class is designed to assist resource families become familiar with the tween years as a stage of child development. Taking time to understand the importance of guiding children’s social, emotional and moral development during the tween years which sets the stage for addressing parenting challenges. The trainer will work with the resource family to develop effective tween parenting strategies with the tween in their care.
