Adoption or guardianship is a lifelong journey for your family.

As your child grows, their needs will change. What feels manageable today may look different in year, or five years. New questions, challenges, and big emotions often surface over time.

Adoptive and guardian families will need support along the way because parenting children with histories of loss and trauma requires learning, adjusting, and growing over time.

Light Up the Journey is a place for ongoing support. Learn what to expect, connect with ORPARC and other families, and reflect together so you are prepared not just for today, but for every stage ahead. Email lightup@nwresource.org for more information or to get registered!
