The State of Oregon, in partnership with ORPARC, is honored to host the nationally accredited Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) created by the Center for Adoption Support & Education (C.A.S.E.).

ORPARC invites you to join some of the first therapists in Oregon to earn this nationally recognized certification, currently offered live (virtually) and FREE. Attendance is expected; sessions not recorded.

Applications are competitive for the rigorous 10 month, small group, Master's level training. Applicants must be licensed therapists—or those in licensure—with a completed Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related. Therapists must serve children, youth and/or families (not just adults); and ideally offer in-person services in Oregon. Benefits include 66 CEU's, clinical hours, listing in the national Directory of TAC Trained Professionals, networking opportunities and more.

Therapists representing a variety of lived experience (particularly adoptees/fosterees), multilingual/ cultural skills, and/or serving underserved or rural areas or populations—as well as who also accept OHP—are prioritized and especially encouraged to apply.
