Training for Adoption Competency (TAC)

Build Oregon's foster adoption competency!

“There are some standout humans and I am so happy to be getting to know them and expanding my network of amazing people! Thanks again for the invite to that program. I am also learning so much…” ~Oregon 2021-22 TAC Participant

The State of Oregon is honored to join 19 other states in launching the first nationally accredited Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) created by the Center for Adoption Support & Education (C.A.S.E.). ORPARC invites you to join some of the first therapists in Oregon to earn this nationally recognized certification, currently offered live (virtually) and for FREE.

Applications are competitive for the rigorous 10 month, small group, Master's level training. Applicants must be licensed therapists - or those in licensure - with a completed Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related. Benefits include 72 CEU's, clinical hours, listing in the national Directory of TAC Trained Professionals and more.

Therapists representing minority populations, with personal adoption or foster care lived experience, serving underserved or rural areas or populations, and/or who accept OHP are especially encouraged to apply.

Help us equip Oregon with a diverse array of culturally strong, foster-adoption competent therapists statewide to better serve Oregon families and children. Learn more about TAC!Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) | LinkedIn
