Introduction to Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

TBRI is an evidence-based, trauma-informed, attachment-based model to help children and their loved ones. TBRI is built upon Connecting Principles that nurture attachment & promote relationships, Empowering Principles address physical and ecological needs of children and Correcting Principles teach self-regulation and are effective in disarming fear-based behaviors. Participants will learn how to:

1. Connect with children to build attachment; 2. Use practical tools to engage with children and reduce children's fear responses; and 3. Teach skills to children for self-regulation, calming & getting through daily routines.
