Meaningful Ways to Engage and Train Supporters on a Person's Individual Support Plan (ISP)

An *ISP is the written plan that details what matters in a person’s life and what they want to do, as well as guides supports, activities, and resources to balance what is important to and for them along the way. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), family members and others often play a key role in implementing a person’s ISP. Through this training participants will:

– learn a variety of approaches to increase the engagement of others throughout the ISP process

– gain tools to better understand the learning styles of employees

– understand how to tailor training content to fit adult learning styles

– leave with specific ISP training activities to use and adapt for different learners
