Mapping Healthy Relationships

This training will help you learn how to build a relationship ‘map’ with someone that can serve as an evolving tool for teaching healthy behaviors, boundaries, relationship characteristics and consent. This tool can grow along with someone as they age and help them recognize if someone is engaging in healthy & safe behaviors with them. During this course you will:

• Learn to create relationship maps to help someone define the relationships in their life

• Define healthy/safe and unhealthy/unsafe behaviors in each type of relationship

• Outline what steps will be taken if someone is engaging in unsafe or unhealthy behaviors

• Understand how to talk about abuse and who is responsible for behavior

• Utilize media messages as a teaching tool for communication and relationships

• Support a healthy, consenting romantic or sexual relationship
