Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) involves a 3-step process of identifying and understanding a child's concerns, identifying the adults' concerns, and brainstorming to come to solutions. Research has shown CPS to be highly effective with children and adolescents who don't respond to standard parenting approaches, and in fact, their behavior often deteriorates. Learn a unique approach to an old problem, while gaining practical strategies to help difficult youth gain skills necessary to handle frustration and to adapt when situations requires.
