This training will help parents and caregivers to develop their unique experiences into a meaningful personal story that can be shared with peers, providers, legislators, and state and local leaders. Participants will learn core elements to developing personal experience into effective advocacy. Learn how to use your unique experiences to tell a story that impacts others, honor the journey that you have been on as a parent raising a child with mental or behavioral health needs, and change systems by being a voice for the family experience.
Cost of attendance is free, with a light lunch provided February 19th. Light morning beverages and snacks provided both days.
Please note that this training is for family members only. Registration for this training is required. Register here. Please plan to attend both days.
