Traumatic experiences from injury, moving from place to place, a difficult family life or other life experiences will impact learning in a variety of ways. This training will provide insight into the characteristics trauma can manifest in youth 0 to 18 and some methods to remediate the effects. We'll explore research based and data driven methods to assist children in learning from preschoolers through high school. We'll look at readiness skills as well as reading and math at beginning, middle school and high school level. Learning is interrupted differently in learners from 0 to 18 which requires different methods to overcome the trauma.
