Foster and Adoptive Parent Association of Lane County

The Foster And Adoptive Parents Association of Lane County (FAAPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation which has been incorporated to serve the following purposes:

  • To provide funds through private contributions to fulfill needs of adoptive children and children in shelter or foster care in order to support enrichment and supplemental learning experiences and to conduct other projects which may be deemed necessary and timely for the benefit of such children
  • To promote public awareness
  • To create a coalition of community leadership
  • To broaden the support of the community for foster children

FAAPA meets every 3rd Monday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the Department of Human Services, 1234 Chad Drive, Eugene, OR 97408. Childcare provided at FAAPA monthly meetings. FAAPA provides foster, adoptive and kinship parents with:
